We recognise that Irish law distinguishes between fresh, living horticultural products and other, more "manufactured" or gift-oriented items. As such, many florist shops in Ireland use 2 types of VAT: 13.5% reduced rate for fresh products such as flowers and plants, arranging services, and wrapping; and 23% standard rate for other goods such as artificial and dried items, gifts and sundries, and standalone delivery. Our system allows you to categorise your inventory to comply with Revenue Commissioners' regulations.
