Website and Documentation Terms of Use
Last updated: July 24, 2026
These Website and Documentation Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of https://digitalflorists.com, the public documentation we publish, and related public marketing or documentation subdomains or microsites that we operate (together, the "Website"), operated by Digital Florists Ltd ("Digital Florists", "we", "us", "our"). The Website does not include our software service or customer-generated Public Features (as defined in our Terms of Service), which are governed by our Terms of Service.
By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
Note: If you are a customer using our software platform, your use of that service is governed by our separate Terms of Service.
1. About the Website
The Website provides information about Digital Florists, our products and services, resources for florists, and public documentation that helps customers evaluate, configure and use Digital Florists.
"Content" means the material we make available through the Website, including text, documentation, screenshots, images, videos, examples, direct Markdown views, downloadable files, search indexes and other AI-readable versions. Content does not include Customer Data or customer-owned content submitted to or generated through our software service.
2. Acceptable Use
Browse the Website, read the documentation, and use it to work out whether Digital Florists suits your shop. Search engines may index it, and you can point an AI assistant at it to answer a question about how something works.
Our robots.txt file describes our automated-access and content-use preferences. It is a preference signal rather than a licence, so it does not widen the rights these Terms grant. Nothing in these Terms restricts the use of machine-readable files we publish for the purpose, such as our sitemap and llms.txt, in the way they are published for.
Except where these Terms, applicable law or our written consent permit it, and except to the extent a restriction below may not lawfully be imposed, you must not:
- use the Website in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations;
- use the Website in any way that is fraudulent or harmful;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Website, server, or connected systems;
- interfere with or disrupt the Website's security, integrity or performance, or get around rate limits or other technical measures;
- bulk-download or systematically copy the Content, or use it to train, fine-tune or improve an artificial intelligence or machine learning model;
- republish, mirror, distribute, license, sell or otherwise commercially exploit a substantial part of the Content;
- remove or alter copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices;
- transmit any material that is defamatory, offensive, or otherwise objectionable.
3. Intellectual Property
3.1 Our content: Content on the Website is owned by Digital Florists or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. This does not change any customer's ownership of Customer Data or customer-owned content under the Terms of Service.
3.2 Limited licence: You may view, download, print and copy reasonable extracts of Content for your own internal use in evaluating, purchasing, configuring or using Digital Florists. You may also quote reasonable extracts publicly with clear attribution and a link to the source.
You may use an AI assistant to retrieve or summarise Content for the same purposes.
When using Content under this limited licence, you must:
- keep any copyright and proprietary notices;
- not present altered or summarised Content as our official wording; and
- not publish or distribute a substantial part of the Content without our written permission.
3.3 Separate licence terms: If material is supplied with separate licence terms, those terms govern that material to the extent of any conflict with these Terms.
3.4 Reservation of rights: No other licence or right is granted. All rights not expressly granted by these Terms are reserved.
3.5 Trademarks: "Digital Florists", our logo, and other marks are trademarks of Digital Florists Ltd. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent.
4. Documentation, Blog and Resource Content
4.1 Documentation: Our public documentation describes generally available, supported functionality at the time of publication. Availability can depend on your plan, configuration, region and connected third-party services. Screenshots and examples are illustrative and may differ as Digital Florists changes.
If the documentation or these Website terms conflict with your order form, Terms of Service or another written customer agreement on the same subject, that agreement takes priority, including for any service commitment, support obligation or warranty.
4.2 General resources: Our blog posts, guides, case studies, and other resources are provided for general informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy:
- content may become outdated and we are not obliged to update it;
- content does not constitute professional advice (legal, financial, business, or otherwise);
- you should seek appropriate professional advice before making business decisions.
5. Third-Party Links
The Website may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources. These links are provided for convenience only. We do not:
- control or endorse third-party sites;
- accept responsibility for their content, privacy practices, or availability;
- guarantee the accuracy of information on third-party sites.
Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms and policies.
6. User Submissions
If you submit content to us through the Website (such as enquiry forms, demo requests, or feedback), you:
- grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and publish that content for business purposes, excluding private enquiry form submissions that are treated as confidential communications;
- confirm that your submission does not infringe any third-party rights;
- acknowledge that we are not obliged to treat submissions as confidential (unless covered by a separate agreement or they constitute a private enquiry).
7. Disclaimers
7.1 No warranties: The Website is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
7.2 Marketing content: Testimonials, case studies, and success stories reflect individual experiences and results may vary. Any statistics, projections, or claims are for illustrative purposes and should not be relied upon as guarantees.
7.3 Availability: We do not guarantee that the Website will be available at all times or free from errors, viruses, or other harmful components.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 Exclusions: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
8.2 Limitations: Subject to clause 8.1, we shall not be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Website.
8.3 Consumer rights: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Notice and Cookie Policy, which explain how we collect and use your personal data.
10. Suspension and Termination of Access
10.1 Our right to restrict access: We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without notice, to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to all or any part of the Website if we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms or applicable law, or that your use of the Website is harmful to us, other users, or third parties.
10.2 Consequences: On termination or suspension, your right to access and use the Website ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law) will continue to apply.
10.3 No liability: We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any suspension or termination of access carried out in accordance with these Terms.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version and change the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by English law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
